2K17

Went to Dotty's in TTDI for (heavy) tea time with the usuals, Nabil and Aishah :) The foods were great! For more info, you can check their instagram: @mydottys (Oh and I don't panjat the kerusi for these photos if you guys wondering how these photos turn our to be so nice and pretty - or maybe you don't bother pun, okay whatever!)

Quite steep but for once in a year (yeke) okay lah. The chicken pie was superb and the smoked salmon was pehhhh!

Fav girls:

So,

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I wish I could insert the sound of fireworks for background music just to tell you guys how excited I am! We finally say hello to a brand New Year. I know most of you could see how I retweeted all birthday wishes on Twitter not to brag to all of you about my birthday (haha, actually yes - I gila wishes sikit) but just, I was touched with some small gestures people did to me. Some were not even my close friend but they did wish me and I'm so happy to max! Thank you people. May Allah bless you.

I wish I could screenshot all birthday wishes I got through Whatsapp, iMessage and Telegram but some of them were cheesy and touching - I decided to keep it to myself. My best friends are the best! We might 'terasa' for some stupid reason like;

"Dia tak kejut aku pun pagi tadi"
"Dia tak senyum pun kat aku tadi doh"

"Dia tak ajak aku pun"
"Dia ni busy je tak boleh nak Facetime ugh"

and many more stupid stuffs. Funny right? I hope me being 22, I won't be this childish anymore haha!

Like previous years, 2016 was full with ups and downs. And these ups and downs were the reason for me to grow wiser and smarter (and chubbier - HELP!) I take each and every happy and painful memories as a start for me to be a better person in the upcoming years. I hope I will always grow healthier, happier and brighter!

Above all this, I would like to thank Mom for taking good care of me until I am who I am today. I may not be a good daughter, but I hope Allah will always ease her, bless her and giving her all the love she deserve to get. Mom is always the best :)

Ok, so here are my resolution for this year!

1) To snack less and exercise more. To at least gain that healthy weight - not to go skinny. I won't turn all organic, I cannot avoid delicious local foods and fried chicken! But to stop snacking on junk foods, to lower down my sugar intake. I think that is good enough for start. Exercise? I'm not a run/jog person so maybe I'll go for indoor exercises like watching exercise videos on Youtube or maybe I could do zumba. I'll try those maybe this evening... or night.... or tomorrow (the days continues - jk jk)

2) To not waste time. I want to manage my time well. Prepare everything before hand, do things efficiently, wake up early so I can get more things done.

3) To care about myself more. This includes me paying attention on my health and do things I love to do. Like reading more novels, listen to more good music, watch good dramas/movies and etc. (did I mention about time management before? jk)

4) To cook more. I want to eat home-cooked food more since that is the best food ever!

5) To blog more!

6) To ask more. I want to educate myself to go and seek for my lecturers if I have something that I cannot understand. I want to learn and understand so I could practice what I learnt today in future. Not just to pass my exam.

7) To take serious action on money management. I want to increase my savings from RM 1/day to RM2/day yay!

8) To be more spiritually engaged. I want to recite Quran more often, take good care of my prayers, constantly performing Dhuha and etc.

9) To travel more and learn more and experience more.

Okay, that's a lot!

As you guys know, 2016 has been a terrible year for the world. There were so many sufferings going on, politically and economically. So many natural disasters including earthquakes and etc happening in other countries which scared me a lot. Wars and terrorism were never ending, and the world is terrifying so I always remind myself to always pray for the world. I pray for 2017; that this world is going to be a better place for everyone, spreading more love than hate and all the great things will happen in our life.

Happy 2K17! Thank you for reading my blog for the past few years! I'm so touched :)
Hope you have a wonderful year.

In love with Seoul

Hello blog, I've missed you !
Life has been pretty good. And this post is going to be damn long. Please, jebal! Don't give up!

So I've been away from Malaysia (again) for 8 days to Seoul. Yes! Seoul! If you know me well, you'll definitely know how I would pronounce (or should I say shout) the word Seoul excitedly! Tehee!

Trip story

DAY 1

Our flight was at 8AM and we had a loooong and boring 6 hours journey to Incheon. I slept throughout the journey because I was exhausted and above all, I was bored (no actually sleeping is my hobby - whatever ugh) We reached Incheon around 2:30 pm and some of us had our lunch at the airport (I went to Seoul with a group of 27 people). Next, we took an airport line subway to Itaewon and we reached SP Itaewon Guesthouse around 7:30 pm. We had to climb up a couple of stairs (local calls it "tangga neraka" zzz). We (girls) decided to have our maggie reunion at the rooftop and we immediately dozed off after that. What a tiring day!

DAY 2

So we visited Digital Pavilion and my opinion - the place was okay. On our way, we passed the SBS building, yes the building with the huge screen (remember running man episode with 2ne1 and 2pm, yes yes that building) and we were lucky to meet Ahn Nae Sang, one of Ddandara (Entertainer) actor. *Please watch Entertainer, yoreobun!!!* We were super lucky to see MONSTA X from far.

Ahn Nae Sang yo!

MONTA X!!!!

So next, we went to Myeongdong and we had a great time there. Yes! Shopping and street food hunting!

We went to Namsan Tower right after our shopping period. The view was incredible!

DAY 3

We started our third day journey by visiting Seoul World Cup Stadium. Because I'm not a huge fan of football, so a stadium is just a stadium for me. Haha.

Next, we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace and this is the first place where I interacted with the locals and I'm super happy!

We had lunch at Gosaem-i and I love the dishes to max!

And at night, we decided to pay a visit to Seoul Central Mosque.

DAY 4

We visited Soongsil Uni and we met new friends there. They were super cool and nice! Soongsil Uni is so big with a lot of stairs (yeah, if I were a Soongsil Uni student - I can be your next fav noona lol)

We went to Gwanjang Market after that for street food hunting again!

DAY 5

I love Everland to max! Eventhough I ended up in misery thanks to the T-express and the viking haih. I spent a little for GD's hologram and it was fantastic! I just love Everland!

One of Hawa's successful angle photoshoot lol.

The scariest yet the best ride in Everland!

Our so called Everland oppa lol.

DAY 6

We spent the whole day fangirling! Yes! We went to YG Entertainment in Mapu-go, JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment and FNC Entertainment in Apgujeong. We went to COEX SM Town too. Yes, everything was about fangirling!

We had our samgyetang and bulgogi at EID Korean Halal Restaurant in Itaewon and it was superb!

DAY 7

We went to Nami Island and continue shopping for our last day in Seoul. It was sad to leave but yeah!

Halal dish in Nami Island at Asian Restaurant!

Dinner at EID again!

DAY 8

Annyeong Seoul!

Expenses

Flight + luggage: 1178 MYR (you can get cheaper if you book early)
Accomodation: 350 MYR
Shopping: 400,000 won (roughly around 1.5K MYR)

Additional info:

We saved 2,000 won when we managed to get free T-money from Korea Tourism at Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P Ramlee. We got a lot of coupons from there too. So if you really want to save a lot, go here and get as many discount coupons as you want!

I will definitely go to Seoul again! My semester starts tomorrow! May Allah bless me!

Sawadikap Phuket!

I just got back from Phuket last Friday and my trip was amazing except for:

1. I lost my sunglasses. (luckily it was a 10 MYR sunglasses ugh)
2. I lost my immigration card and I had a 15 minute feels-like-dying moment right before I flew back to Malaysia.
3. I accidentally immersed my phone into the sea water. (and the phone is safely place in a sealed back full with uncooked rice)

So, I went to Phuket with my usual travel buddy, Aishah. It was a last minute trip but the flight and hotel were incredible. We took AirAsia flight as early as 7:25 AM and that was the reason why I stayed at Capsule by Container Hotel the day before. I got a capsule next to a hot korean guy who loves to talk and talk and talk, even until 2 AM he still talking. But, he's a good guy though and it was nice to know him after all.

In Phuket, we stayed at Baan Laimai Resort. The hotel was superb (except on our first day, the air cond was not functioning well) We spend our first day walking around Patong, sightseeing and playing at the beach and also swimming pool.

The next day, we went for a trip with Sea Angel travel agency to Koh Khai Island, Koh Phi Phi Island and another one, I cannot remember the name (because the island is not that 'cantik' at all) We paid for 1050 Baht for the trip after a long negotiations with a lady at the airport. (We went from one booth (or should I call it shop ??) to another to get the cheapest price that we could - I vividly remember an ahjusshi who struggling hard to offer us the best price but we keep on refusing because it wasn't cheap for us. Half of me is feeling guilty to him and half of me was like okay) We met few Malaysians who were on the same boat with us. (yeah, we're just good at giving smiles and make a new friend)

Our last day was all about shopping and sightseeing :) Oh and I managed to accomplish my wish to randomly 'tegur' any mat salleh - and I did it at the airport haha.

Photos for you:

Manage to drink banana milk before going to Seoul haha

Ice cream!
Ice cream flavor: Vanilla
Mixer: Kiwi and nutella
Topping: Chocolate
That's what I had!

Our boat-mate featuring the view!

At Koh Khai Island and everything was beautiful.

Saw this random swing and here me swings like a monkey (or actually not because it doesn't swing pun)

Always happy me (padahal baru hilang sunglass and phone baru selamat terendam air laut)

I think this is their so called TNB haha

Aishah featuring tom yam goong! Have our meal at San Sabai - a halal restaurant!

In front of our hotel room!

Shopping time!

I was so glad that our trip turn out to be a simple yet enjoyable one. I was even glad that my travel buddy never brag over anything and I feel bad in case if I'm somehow pressuring her or what. She is indeed a good friend :)
To more exciting trip together!

So here are few extras info I would like to share:

Budget

Hotel + flight - 523.08 MYR (It was worth because my hotel was superb)
Spending (including shopping, island hopping trip, taxi pergi-balik airport, foods, drinks and everything) - 450 MYR

Foods

They are a lot of halal restaurant here. So it is quite easy to find halal food. But the best one is San Sabai. ( except for it's wifi)

Island hopping trip

Always go from one shop to another and request for the cheapest price. Don't purchase directly from the Internet.
